May 24 (Thursday), San Francisco opens an online application for the sharing of electric skateboard licenses. Sfmta and City Attorney Herela (Dennis Herrera) said the deadline for licensing applications was 5 o'clock in the afternoon June 7. This licensing system, known as the "Shared Power Skateboard Program", allows companies to park their shared power skateboards on sidewalks or any other public place after obtaining a license. The Act came into force on June 4 and, from June 4 onwards, by the end of June, San Francisco will ban all shared electric skateboards. Any shared electric skateboard seen on the street will be confiscated, and the company will be fined 100 dollars a day for each car. The pilot program approved by the city Council in April required the sharing of an electric skateboard company to apply for a permit, and only 1,250 skateboards were deployed within the first 6 months. If the pilot program of the first 6 months is successful, from the 7th month, the scale of the skateboard can be expanded to 2,500 vehicles.
